Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced New Parts Development Manager to lead end-to-end new product/part development from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and cost efficiency at our Wai, Satara Plant.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle new product development (NPD) from RFQ to SOP
• Study customer drawings, specifications & feasibility
• Manage project timelines as per APQP milestones
• Coordinate with internal teams (Production, Quality, Purchase, PPC)
• Lead tooling development, trials & PPAP submission
• Ensure quality standards and customer approvals
• Support costing and optimize development costs
• Manage customer communication & technical discussions
Key Skills
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan
• Experience in automotive / casting / machining industry
• Project management & problem-solving skills
• Good communication & customer handling
• Knowledge of CAD drawings & GD&T
Qualification
• BE / B.Tech – Mechanical / Production / Automobile
Experience
• 6–10 years in manufacturing / automotive sector
• Experience in NPD / Project Management is mandatory
