Title: Trainee Engineer - Melting Department


Job Summary


We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Engineer to join our Melting Department team. As a Trainee Engineer, you will undergo comprehensive training and development to become a skilled engineer in the melting department. You will assist in the operation, maintenance, and improvement of melting furnaces and related equipment.


Key Responsibilities


1. Training and Development: Participate in a structured training program to develop skills and knowledge in melting department operations, including furnace operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

2. Furnace Operation: Assist in the operation of melting furnaces, including monitoring temperature, pressure, and other process parameters.

3. Maintenance and Repair: Assist in the maintenance and repair of melting furnaces and related equipment, including performing routine inspections and troubleshooting issues.

4. Process Improvement: Assist in identifying areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality.

5. Safety and Quality: Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards, and participate in safety audits and risk assessments.

6. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality assurance.

7. Data Analysis: Assist in collecting and analyzing data on furnace performance, energy consumption, and other relevant metrics.

8. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of furnace operation, maintenance, and repair.


Requirements


1. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

2. Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a melting department or related industry.

3. Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

4. Certifications: Familiarity with industry certifications, such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or American Foundry Society (AFS) certifications.


Working Conditions


1. Melting Department Environment: Work in a melting department environment with exposure to heat, noise, and dust.

2. Physical Demands: May require standing, walking, and lifting (up to 25 kg).

3. Safety Equipment: Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
